I'm talking about the hose itself. My front break line hose is about 6"....? IDK, I'm not in the garage right now. I need to replace the HOSE. As of my clips being right under the top tree - it's stretched beyond belief.

Ahh...I see what you mean.

the cheapest & easiest way to fix that is to get a 3/16" compression union from an auto parts store, cut a section out of the metal line and put it back together with the compression fitting then bleed the brakes.

I got my line from J&P Cycles. Rubber line from fitting to fitting. buying both banjo fittings, crush washers & the line was around 40 bucks.

Man, you confused the hell outta me. A comp union? I don't get it. I need a longer hose. I'm super confused right now.

First you need to un hook the line from where it's mounted to the upper tree, then shorten the metal part so that the line runs straight to the caliper from the master cylinder...
