Default Short in headlight wire from dim/bright switch to light, 99 Sporty.

At first I could wiggle the wire, and it would work for a few days. The short is under the left handle grip, where the two screws tighten up the clutch lever bracket. I guess I will go ahead and extend all the wires while I have it apart, I may go to apes later.

Any tips? I appreciate any response.

Thank you, RD.

I think it is pinched right under the clamp. That's a bad design, IMO.

I could wiggle it for a while and it would work. Now it is DOA.

I don't know what it looks like where the wires connect to the switch. May have enough room to just shorten the wire.

Should have fixed this a month ago, but have been busy.

Thanx for the help.

First, start a new thread, don't hijack another.
Be sure and specify what specific problem you're having, as well as the year & model of your bike.

Oh yea, welcome to the forum....
