I call it how I see it.

I knew that "flag" bike just didnt know the name.

Anyways, my vote goes to apes. Apes are sooo much nice and set off a bike way better then drags, any day of the week.

 

Apes are cool.. So are drags and so are clip ons. Motorcycles are cool.. Some ppl try and put cool/original/classic/chopper/bobber/old school in a BOX.. I think those types of ppl are clearly evident and clearly lame..

 

I got the mirrors flipped and the turn signals moved to forks and the whole bike already looks a lot better. As i said in the first post they seem comfortable, so for now they are staying. But you never know what the future holds??

 

Mine are very comfortable. Moving to 16'' this week probably.I can post pictures when done. I have sat on RK,Springers etc with apes and seemed to be fine. But never rode them.

I love the look of apes. My next bike will be a deluxe. Hopefully soon.

Very well said. Being a biker, is first and foremost, riding. The more miles, the better. If one proclaims himself to be a biker and has more posts on a forum than miles, theres a problem. Thinking outside the box or a label of bobber, chopper, old school so on and so forth, whatever, is cool and so is the definition bike of any of those terms. I like bikes, whatever you want to call them, warts and all.

It would never be my bike so you can have it. Mine would look 10x better with some apes.

 

I'd say it doesn't! Apes make you look like you're on a rock climbing wall or like you're getting ready to get splattered on a wall!
