Off topic for Dr V Twin. How come I can't find the Vance & Hines ProPipe (16527) for my bike in the Drag Specialties book? Do you sell this pipe?

In the Cruiser world yes, didn't realize individuals were so passionate about their brands lol.
In the sport bike world every just talked sh*t if you didn't have a liter bike, or if you couldn't do a wheely haha!

 

When you're with them on your HD, watch how many people turn to look when they start their metrics. Then look when you start the Harley. From the moment you get on and hit the starter you'll be smiling and confident in your choice. The sound, vibration, heft...its what makes a Harley a Harley. The reason the HD is more is because you're getting more - steel, chrome, finish, etc. There's a reason there are even 100 yr old HDs on the road, not to mention countless Knuckles and Pans- A Harley is forever.

 

The stealerships try to talk people out of buying Sportsters because there isn't much mark-up on them, and so they don't have a lot of commission. It's easy for them because the Big Twins are so much more glamourous, especially now with the great publicity they are getting from Sons of Anarchy.

 

I went back in there today with the wife to put in the credit application but it was already 6pm south arizona time before they heard back from them and i went back to the dealership at 5pm to turn one in. So they will contact me on tuesday to let me know what kind of rates we are looking at.
