is there any way to get the summit clamp mounted center of the bars and laying flush like a RSD speedo relocate? perhaps with different risers?

When I went to drag bars on my old Iron I used 5.5" risers and relocated the speedo using a Dyna speedo mount, some metal tubing and longer socket cap bolts. With the tubing and bolts you can make it any level that will work. Here are a few pics.....

How is that secured inside the Tank, I read about fabbing it but is it screwed in, bolted Tight fit??? just Curious I think this will be one of my projects before I get my bike painted now to find someone to do it...

If you go with the summit mount you can just use a longer bolt trought the front tank mount...of course, you have to be willing to do without the idiot lights...
