Don't like my pillow seat!!!
Hi All
I want to replace the god awful looking pillow seat (see picture below) that my bike came with. I want something lower profile, sleeker but comfortable. Was looking at the Mustang solo or the Le Pera Silhouette seat. This seat is comfortable but just don't like the look of it....want to scale it down and not feel like I am sitting on a couch!!
Thanks

Only help I can offer is don't go for a badlander.....the look is awesome, but unless you are ready to get used to it, you'll hate it as well. Unless you could have it modified with a gel seat or something.....
I love mine, but it took some getting used to. Mountain biking probably helped that too because those seats make a badlander look like a couch.

I have been looking for a pillow-top tourer seat because the wife complains about her 'important parts' hurting on the back of the Mustang seat (fastback seat I believe) we have on our 07. We just recently bought the bike and it was already on there. *I* love the firmer scuplted seat but I have to keep her happy too. Would you be interested in a trade? I can send/post pics of the bike and seat if you are.

I had the same seat on my bike when I bought it. It was VERY comfy but looked like something a 70yr old man w/ hemorrhoids would have on his bike. I found a brand new looking Badlander on CL for $45 so I bought it. It looks tough as all get-out but it does take some getting used to. It is VERY firm. It's shaped very nicely for my backside (what little bit of it there is) but the foam is very dense and thin. My brother complained that it hurt his tailbone when he borrowed my bike. He seems to have that problem w/ a lot of seats though. I'm pretty accustomed to it now and I have no problem w/ it on my 1hr ride to work. I could probably do 2-3hrs on it before I'm going to REALLY need to get up and stretch the buns.
