Also now sometimes when I get on my bike the security signals flash when I turn the key for about 3 seconds. Its the same flash that goes off when people get on the bike if I dont have the fog near the bike? It just happened a few days ago and I am freaking out that my bike is going to shut down on me because the fog is all Xed up!

Its a 2008 harley sportster 883L with 1500 miles

 

change the battery in the key fob...don't worry about the bike shutting down, the security system in not armed while the bike is running

 

Good to know, do you know what the battery life is usually like on the fob?
