Default Question about footpeg "mod"

Hi guys,

I just installed the silencer footpegs from harley, and my feet are sliding off.

I was wondering if you know of a product I could put inside the pegs and inflate, or fill with something that will make something like rubber come out of the holes thus giving me (more) grip?

I hope my question makes sense....

Thanks

Lou

I guess I could stick some rubber on there, but if the rubber came out of the holes, it would look so much cleaner...
(ie bump)

Whatever you do is going to kill the look of the peg, Some parts are made to look better than they work. I'm not sure how your feet keep sliding off, but maybe try a differant footing on the peg?

You might try pumping it full of hotglue.. once its dry its clear and it might give you a little more grip.. on the other hand.. if it doesn't work.. then you get to try to get the hg out..

How about rubber o-rings placed onto the peg.
Machine shop - knurl them.
Form over function...you need different pegs.
