i've had my straight shots wrapped for 5 years on my sportster, no issue. def had to do it, when i was sitting in traffic my pants and leg were burning up. i did replace the wrap once. no biggy there. still cheaper than heat shields...if they made them for my pipes.

i don't regret it at all.
