Have you installed an Easy Pull Clutch?
I got one of these gadgets from ebay (same as easypullclutch.com) since I ride in traffic a lot...
I've been working on cars and bikes practically my whole but thing's a bit mind bottling.
Read the instructions - Check
Installed (super easy) - Check
Readjusted clutch - Check
adjusted lever freeplay - Check
..then before I put the inspection cover back on I checked to make sure the clutch functioned. No dice.
There's a "rib" on the primary cover that the coupling hits, not allowing the arm to move freely. (red arrow in first pic below)
Emailed the dude who sells these things, and although he's very responsive, he doesn't do a great job of explaining things.
So, I know there are some folks on here that have installed these things. Did you guys run into this issue? Am I missing something/doing something incorrectly?
The bike's a 2007 XL1200 C
Thanks in advance!

I put one on my wifes Nightster, it was a Drag Specialties (made in Germany). Went on easy. Loosen the jam nut for the clutch adjustment, loosen clutch adjustment until it can take the levels out. Should be a two piece lever with ball bearing in the middle, helps to oil them to keep them in place when installing the new lever. The adjustment on my wifes said to only back it a 1/8 turn instead of a 1/4 turn like with a stock one after you feel the clutch engage.

Dude - I ride in Houston traffic EVERYday. One of the most OVER POPULATED cities in the country. 5 lane highways, 5 mph. Bumper to tire. Never had to complain about the stock clutch. It's a bike. Traffic sucks. It is what it is. People like you is the reason they invented the "remote control" for TV's. COME ON!

To each their own, man. I live in So Cal and head to LA and San Diego on a regular basis. I really don't care which cities have the worst traffic, that's not really the point.
I'm not complaining by any means, but yeah, I'm probably being lazy, I'll admit it. Either that or I just needed a reason to pull the bike apart- since, ironically, I don't even own a TV (by choice).
Regardless, I've got this stupid little part now. Just trying to see if anyone's had this issue and still made it work.
