Default 07 SE slip ons anyone?

Has anyone with an 07 Sporty bought or even heard a bike with the 07 SE mufflers on it? Plenty of threads about the stock stuff for 07, but yet to hear what the new SE sound like.

Have they started selling SE slipons again?? There were discontinued this year, in May I believe.

They're on page 554 of my 2007 accessories catalog and are street legal for 07 models. According to the graph on the same page, it looks like they will add about 3 to 10 horsepower depending on RPM. Being street legal, I too wonder how they are going to sound.

The SE slipons they made for the 04 - 06 models sounded pretty good. Not extermely loud, but had a nice sound to them. Just depends on how much volume you desire. I guess since they went to FI, they can sell the pipes again for the 07's.

I had heard that V & H is now making all SE slip-ons and exhausts (should sound good then yes?). Not sure how true this is but that is what I have heard from several people.

Don't know about the V&H rumor. I have been told that Cycle Shack was the manufacturer of SE slipons prior to their discontinuation, don't know if that's true or not. I have Cycle Shack's and like them pretty well. For the money, I love them. Would love to have some Troublemakers.

I don't know specifically about the new SE pipes for the '07 models but my wife's '06 needed a sound upgrade and while shopping around, my local stealer told me that the new Harley Davidson slip ons, made to replace the SE II's were pretty quiet. They are 50 state legal. Doesn't mean much to us 'cause were in Canada but if they are OK for California they are not likely that loud.
Anyway, my only point here is that the new SE pipes for the '07 models are also listed as 50 state legal so I wonder about the db levels too. We opted for V&H straight shot slip ons. Infact I will be installing them tomorrow. Good luck in your hunt.
