fvck man...it's paid off! drive it to a buddy's house and ask to store it there and forget you have it. you won't see it, it will feel like you sold it but you can always call your buddy and head over for a ride when the wife goes somewhere with the kids. don't do it man!

I would understand if a kid was on the way and you needed money or just needed the money period. But just because you dont ride it much is no reason to sell it.
KEEP IT! No payments just insurance. I would kill for that. Keep it. Its only because you dont ride much, not financially.
Dont do it.

I sold my Buell XB9S when my first one was born to get a Cherokee (big wheeling toy). I figured it made more sense as a toy since we all could ride in it. In hindsight, that was a mistake (although we did enjoy it quite a bit). I miss that bike a lot and wish I hadn't gotten rid of it. If your bike isn't really costing you anything I would keep it for sure. Trust me, there will be times when the kid has been screaming, pooping, puking, and is busy being a newborn when a 15min ride to clear your head will make all of the difference in the world.
I ride to work often, I ride on small errands, to go to the parts store, to pick up stuff, mail some crap or whatever. Even w/ a 2 and 5 yr old I manage between 6-8000mi/year on my bike. All of those little rides can make it worth having a bike. Then as Jr. get a little older it'll be easier to do a day long ride every now and then or even a small road trip and you will be glad that you kept your bike. Your riding time will most definitely get cut back w/ a newborn but it doesn't have to get cut off all together.

Thanks for all the support to keep the bike. I know it won't be my last and it obviously wasn't set up for longer rides, but I still think I'm going to sell. I'm in no hurry, so if the right person comes along to give it a good home, then I'd be willing to part with it. In the meantime, I'll try and get as much out of it as I can.
