Sorry to hear about the incident - must have been pretty bad.
Really have to say, though, quite disappointed in the gun advocacy. I really don't think carrying concealed weapons is going to solve much - just kill more people. I'm quite sure that if guns were illegal in your lovely country then you'd never read any of these stories.

As for your statement of if guns were illegal in our lovely country then you'd never read any these stories, here's my rebuttal to that.
Not sure where you live but recently in the UK a taxi driver shot up a couple of people. Last time I heard, the "lovely" UK had very serious bans on firearms yet someone still managed to bust caps and take out a couple of innocent bystanders. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/ukne...s-himself.html
The more restriction you put on firearms, the only thing you're doing is disarming the law abiding citizens and making the criminals more powerful because they tend not to abide by the laws.
A wise man once said "The beauty of the second amendment is that it will not be needed until they try to take it." The people of your country probably lost that battle to the government.

Not sure if it's coming up for debate or a vote but either way they are talking about allowing concealed handguns on campus. Make sure you call you state Rep and voice your opinion, believe me the bleeding hearts will. I just find it hard to believe that dumb sh$&s still attempt to rob or assult people here in Texas. Not only do they have to worry bout the cops but also the 60 year old grandma with a .38 in her purse. Every week there are case on the news where some bad guy got blowed away. One case in Houston 2 guys tried to rob a convenience store and both the cashier and a customer pull guns and killed one and injured the other. How stupid can these guys be. Makes me happy to see all out tax dollars we are saving for the cost of a couple 9mm shells.
