Default Green slime and the Nightster tire

Hey guys, got a flat sometime since my last ride.
I have an 08 Nightster which has a tube in the tire....so my question is ....

Can I use that green slime in a tube?
I use it in my tubeless lawnmower tires and it works great.
However I dont drive my lawnmower 80+ mph and it has two extra wheels.
I wouldn't cheap out but am broke and dont have money to take the bike to have it fixed nor a motorcycle jack

I have never used a motorcycle jack before anyoone out there can can tell me where I might find a good one for a reasonable charge? and also how easily it can be raised by just one person? as I have no help with anything.

Thanks for helping a brutha out

Not the cheapest for sure, but I'm told that it's one of the very best jacks out there...it sure looks it.

That certainly looks worth the money, just dont have that kind of money right now....but I may buy on of those in the future as I will be doing almost all the work on my own bike.
I found a cheap jack loacally.....now I just need to know if that green tire stuff will work with a tubed tire.

damnit I wanna ride...lol

I would never use slime in a street bike tire and since it has a tube NO WAY! time for a new tire, tube and wheel band. Be smart and safe and do it the right way.

Well the trouble with that is I have no money....well very little money.
My bike has 2K on these tires....so they arent worn out just a freak thing I guess.
I am just trying to buy time till I can get some cash together to replace the tube, buy the jack...etc

It is always best to replace the inner tube. However, Tire Slime is a good preventive product. Use it in the rear tire only, it can cause balance problems with the front. I'm a construction worker, nails and screws seem to find my rear tire a lot. I keep Slime in my tire to make sure I can get home to fix the tire.

Replace the tube.
No other way.
Use the poorman jack (as above) to remove the wheel yourself. That will lower your cost of repair.
You could also do a search on DIY wheel balance to further reduce cost.

just got back from the parts store....looks like that aint the way to go for sure.
And my flat is in the front.....looks like the bike is down again

I have never balanced a tire on a bike...and never noticed any difference in wobbling or anything like that by not doing so.
I think I will skip that all together.

so I found a 50.00 jack that I am picking up after my gig on Thurs. when I have a little cash then I am off to get raped on a tube at the Harley store I guess.
What do those run?....around 300.00?
