Nice addition to the bike Liz. Now, program in N 36 29.558 W 81 56.165 and meet us for the Sporty run in Shady Valley, TN this weekend. I know you are up for good road trip!

Since you have a "C" model, that's any easy fix. Run the power wire inside the handlebar riser and install a 2 pin SAE (battery tender) plug on the end. When not in use it stays hidden behind the speedo. Of course you'll need a mating connector on the end of the GPS pigtail.

If you do not care for Mapsource, you might want to take a look as the HD web site called Ride Planner. The link is shown below.

I like this site better than Mapsource. It seems easier to use to me. It allows you to set up a profile and then create and save routes. You can then download any of them directly to your Zumo.

some bikers say; "....ahhhh...gettin' lost is half the fun."

I don't believe it at all! ( maybe cuz I got lost too often. )

GPS on a bike is a great idea.
never get lost..find food ...motel...gas..

you'll love it

Try using ride planner on the HOG website. A lot easier to plan routes on.
