Probably not. They either invested way more money in the bike than they will ever get out of it OR He has a hell of a bank note to pay off.

If the deal sounds to good to be true then it probably is.. "Caveat emptor" (Let the buyer beware.) A buddy of mine just got stung on a "Craigslist scam" thought to be a great deal...

I don't think a $10,000, 2003 Sportster constitutes a good deal.

My thought is the guy thinks its a special bike because its the 03 anniversary edition and dosnt realize they made alot of them

plenty of people think that just cuz they customized their bike to make it "one-of-a-kind" that they can ask for one-of-a-kind prices.

I always am thinking that when I look on craigslist, even sent messages to a few inquiring if they would take less and they said they would hold out, I guess things are worth what you can get someone to pay lol.

Start out high and come down, as you can never go up. He sure thinks it's worth a lot. Maybe somebody just might really want it and offer him 7k and then both people would be happy!
