Maybe his OL is making him sell it and he doesn't want to. The high price will make sure he can keep it. His arguement to her would be that it is listed, it's not his fault no one has called on it.

 

Could be, I see tons of Sporties on Creigslist here in the valley that are priced like that. One dude, phrased it like the deal of the century, something like; "I didn't ride as much as I thought I would, brand new, only 1,xxx miles on it, lots of chrome (pics didn't do all that for it, honestly), '07 1200c Low (I think, it's been a month or so since I've seen it up), only asking for you to take over payments (Provided you qualify for the initial terms) or to pay off the remainder of my loan... Asking 12,000 for it." or some such.

I about made in my pants. I'm not a math whiz, but I gotta know how much this dude paid for his ride. But, yah, some folks... lol.

showroom ready huh? so who is buyin this thing to stick in a showroom? no one ever gets $ back for custom parts unless it's truly "one of a kind" then you might be able to hold out for that one guy who has to have it.

 

you could be spot on! never thought of that GPS but if there should come a time my wife is raggin on me to get rid of mine it goes up for sale for 15k! that oughta keep everyone away!

 

i always thought craigslist was a joke but thats how i got my 07 nightster with the works and under 5k for only 6700 this summer.

 

He'll be lucky to get half of what he's asking.
