If this was the only thread that I ever read on this forum, I'd think that all Harleys are girl's bikes because the majority of people seem to bitch like little school girls that hit their first period.
Maybe MoCo should start a Justin Bieber line of bikes...might do well.
Ride what you want, enjoy it, be safe, and don't talk **** about others...even if they ride metrics.

I've been hearing this bullshit for years. Look at all the pictures of the Hells Angels from the 60's and 70's. Guess what everyone of them is riding. There was a time when big twins were pig *** slow.
I might have a Dyna and a Road King, but I still have my Evo 883, and I LOVE it. Nothing moves or handles like that bike. It's the only one of my Harleys that I can ride a wheelie on without having to change my underwear afterwards.
my 883 has a little secret too, Andrews cams and a NRHS 1250 Kit with an S&S Super E, and makes about 95 HP. Every one of my freinds that talks **** about it, shuts their mouth quickly afterwards when I hand their *** to them.
I will never give up my Sporty, and as far as a girl's bike? The last woman I let ride it, dumped it because she couldn't handle the power.

I've got a fleet of HDs and like them all. They all have their own strengths and make me happy in different ways.
The Dynas are the best all round bikes.
The Ultra is superb for long distance trips where you're on the road for weeks or months.
The Sportsters are adequate for long trips if set up well, but are really good at canyon carving and freeway scooting.
The XR1200 is just a Sportster on steroids, similar to my Ducati Monster, and the Buell is a step or two above that.
The 51 Pan (my birth year) is a Sunday morning putter for a slow and stylish ramble to a favorite breakfast spot.
All fun, all different.

Screw It-Just Ride! (Any V-Twin Milwaukee Scoot)
So, I'm about to buy my first Harley, a brand spanking new 883L when the salesman wheels out a 98 FXDL for the same price and only 2000 miles on it. Later, I read that Dynas are glorified Sporties, and I think, yeah, but is a Softail the same as a Hardtail? Twinkies don't rank with my old skool Evo, right? Of course my friend with the Shovelhead says it ain't really a Harley because I don't need to work on the motor as much as he does, although I do by choice, rather than need. Of course, his friend with the Panhead laughs at him anyway, cause an AMF isn't a real, honest to goodness, Harley. So, yeah, a Sportster isn't really a K Model, but who's counting now anyway?
