Default dropped my bike 2day

i dumped my bike 2day on gravel, scared the crap outta me. the bike is fine but the throttle is tough to twist and it stays. (gets stuck) what should i do or where to start too try to fix it. please help!!

Well, assuming it's not the screw under the housing, I'd say your bar might possibly be bent. I'd take off the control housing and see if there's anything wrong with that. If not, move onto the grip and see if it'll move freely. If it won't, then it's the bar.

Sorry about the spill, glad you're ok.

Not sure what year you're riding, but did you check the widow maker/cruise control **** near the left side of the throttle? It's designed to make the throttle stick on purpose. Maybe it got spun around a bit?

damb that's tough news ,i find my dunlops just don't do gravle....yep definatlly got to open the control housing ,remember the little brake switch under the front brake lever,

Well glad you and the bike are ok for the most part. I have a limestone drive way and my cuz has already dumped her Nightster in it. I just take is nice and slow, keep my feet down and close to the ground and all is well. Bikes and gravel do not mix well and most of the time the gravel wins.

Yea, dropped my bike the other day coming into a gravel parking area. No damage to me or the bike. Lesson learned, stay off the front brake!
