Default Dent removal and paint referals in Wisconsin...or suggestions.

Hey, I live in Central Wisconsin (Wausau) and am looking for a quality place to get dents removed (or fixed) from my tank and to get the tank, fenders and covers painted flat black.

I went to 2 local shops and both estimates came in at over $1000. Is this average...or do you all think that is high?

Can anyone from WI make a recommendation for me? Or, if the price is right I would be willing to ship the parts out of state to be painted.

Thanks

Let me know if you find some where good, I've got a small dent in my tank that needs fixing, it's only a small one some people can't see it but in the right sun light I can.
Have a look and see if you can

water that sucker! what i mean is i pull dents with water and freezer, fill the tank 1/4 full, then freeze it, check it every hour, after it freezes add 2 cups of water every 35-40 min, till it gets to the dent... you can also try to heat it, then apply ice works great! if all else fails send it to us we can fix it and paint/or powder it and get it back to you

Flat black Is a easy paint to do. The dent dont look like much either. I live by Hurley WI. I will do it for $500. I will be in Tomahawk for the fall ride on the 18th. I have a buddy there that is going to be selling parts, He can transport the parts if you wanna have them done. Let me know.

You would be better off doing what I'm doing for way less than $1000. I ordered a new tank from Suburban Harley- $370 and found a couple different guys to do custom paint jobs on it for $300-350. So you could go new for under $750 easy. I did check a different dealer that doesn't offer the discount like Suburban does and the tank was just over $500, but still way less than $1000.
