Default need seat that moves me back

Hey all, after riding my 08 nightster for 25,000 miles now i'm finding that i want a seat that moves me back further. I have forward controls and mini-apes on it and have tried all the harley seats (all moved me closer) and spoke with mustang on the phone. Mustang said that none of their seats will move me back either. Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm planning on going with a solo seat since 95% of my riding is done solo.

Thanks.

Give Mean City Cycles a shout. They can probably move you back a bit on your current seat. They told me they could move me back an inch on my Sundowner. Doesn't sound like much but I'm going to give it a shot.

The way Harley makes the bikes (for short people) the frame/rear fender locks you into the position, and short of something looking really dorky, there is nothing you can do about it.

Remember when bikes had long thick flat seats?
Short people could slide forward, big guys could slide back, everyone was comfortable, and you could even flip them up and stash gloves under there, and lock up your helmet!

I am 6'3 and the Brawler seat seams to fit me the best. I just need to get another one for my XL 1200C.

Need one too. Even with forward controls still sitting on the back edge.

I cut my seat my self. Took the cover off and used a bread knife to take the hump out of it. Now I sit back farther. I have a thread on here showing what it looks like and how I did it.

Buy a 2-up seat and sit on the back fender. LOL

Mustang also told me that their Solo would move me up a bit. But I actually found that the Mustang solo (on an '08 Nightster) puts me back about an inch (or a little more) from the stock seat. So much so that after a full season and 6000 miles on the seat, I now find that my upper back gets cramped after 150 miles or so. I'm considering risers to bring the bars up and about an inch closer.
