Nice work! I think they both look good, but I too prefer the second one.

I prefer the design of the first, but not the colour. But I like that you just took your own initiative to make it the way you want it. I wish I had enough confidence with a can of paint.

that is what i didnt like about the first , it was supposed to be met. red , but i did one light coat because i didnt want to soak the lace to much....looked orangeish/copper instead or red , bad color combo on my part , if i do lace again i wont settle for just any lace either , i will get the pattern i really want

Would you mind explaining the process to me? I imagine myself with a can of spray paint and screwing things up horribly.
Is it simply a matter of a sanding, priming, and a stencil while holding the can at the proper distance? Do you put a clear coat on after?

Looks a lot like "goinsideways" paint job. Did you use his as a model?
Looks good, it's a good design, and good color combo.

I was gonna say the same thing, both jobs look like 'goinsideways'. But they do look good though. I prefer the second one as well.

I like the layout of the first one but I've never been a big fan of the lace...but the 2nd one is really cool. Good job!
