Exhaust Flange Bolts on rear jug stripped

The exhaust stud unscrew from the head but are in with red loctite. Take it to the dealer and ask them for a new stud. Then put two nuts on it.

Nice idea, but the studs aren't long enough for double nuts.

Sound like a personal problem to me


I found those nuts you pictured earlier, ARP brand at a local hot rod shop. I got them for $2.25 each. So next time I tinker with the bike they are going on.

thx - tin nuts be re used when tinkering with exhaust or are they a one time use?

Put a washer or two between the flange and the nut. You must have some thread left.
