Default 2011 "48" Grip Question

Looking to replace my stock grips on my 48.. will the Kurakyn Black ISO grips fit? Thanks!!

Should,,Bar Diameter hasn't changed,,should show fitment on the sight.
A double check,,go to HD and cross with other sportster models, see if they fit.

All the cool new tribal grips fit the newer sporties.

Default grip removal easy?

how easy is it to remove the grips? I want to replace my standard bars by drag bars.

Yes they will. You will need part number #6320. Here is a thread where some really cool guy took the time to photograph the install with full write up and tips. Man, what a great guy!

By the way, as you can see in the writeup, I prefer the Isos for the Sportster.

I have the stock grips. They don't look like the greatest. So, if it is comfort I am looking for, what is the best way to go about choosing a grip?

Go to your local dealership and feel as many grips as you can. Does not have to be on the same bike as yours, but it can help. Most dealers have a few bikes with grips already installed. Some will be used, some will be new that they installed grips on and will charge a markup. Also, the parts counter will likely let you take a grip off the shelf and out of the package to see how it feels to you. I love my Iso Grips, but find that the smaller diameter stock grips are actually better for my hands than the Kury's.
