Hey GlennB.

I just posted a thread on this here: https://www.hdforums.com/forum/sport...and-stuff.html after Joebotic answered my questions. I decided to go a different route and I cut more off the fender struts and made the fender shorter. I also cut the front of the fender and slid it forward instead of cutting the back. I then mounted my lights through the back axle instead of back on the fender struts. It is some work to get everything apart, cut sanded, painted, back together but I think it was not too bad as far as skills needed as this is the first time I've done anything like it. I just need to clean-up the fender struts and get some struts to replace the shocks so my fender will sit a bit lower on the tire. Let me know if I can help you out.
