Retro Helmets
#21
So, I asked this in the Iron thread but might get some more responses here...where do you guys put your helmets when you stop riding? I ride my bike to school a lot where I'm there for up to 7 hours at a time, and right now I put my 1/2 in the backpack, however I couldn't do that with a 3/4.
So lets hear it...since there's no helmet lock on these bikes, do you just set it next to it and hope no one steals it?

alright I say they are kinda cool
hey, the other question, do you have a locker at school or you talkin college?
I would suggest you can deadbolt lock it to any place on the bike or get once of those helmet lock license plate thingys, just more of a deterant anyway.
on a side note, look what I find at a garage sale today for $ 1 lol.

Personally, I just carry it around. Does fit in an empty backpack, but I carry it normally around by the strap line a handle. Actually, when shopping at the supermarket for a few items, I use it as a basket, LOL. Hey, woman carry purses, why can't we carry a helmet around all the time? Not really a big inconvenience IMO..
Yup, what he said!

From Tekdiver500ft:
I use the "Outfitter 24" goggles, and have been ecstatic with them. They are hi-vis yellow Transitions (R) lenses, so they are yellow when it's dark, and smoke during daylight hours. They are fog resistant on both surfaces, and don't have the air bleed issues that my previous goggles had. I use them with my half helmet and 3/4 helmet, and don't have any issues with them pressing into my glasses at any speed that any of my "street" bikes can reach. At race speeds I exclusively wear a full face helmet, though, so I can only tell you about speeds up to about 130 with these goggles.
Sorry about the question above, I thought I was at the end of the thread when I posted it
