T bars
Has anyone fitted t-bars to their sporty, its just I was contemplating putting 10' t bars on to see if it would give me a little more hight and perhaps a little more pull back and of course I think they look good. I guess you call them t-bars in the US but if not then I credit you all with the intelligence to work it out. I would like to know if they are easy enough to fit and that sort of thing..Thanks in advance to all who reply.

Put some 8" T bars on my '04 XLC this spring...
The speedo bracket is a V-Twin part # 39-0212 ($45). When I went to order mine it was on backorder from the factory though they were in stock at Discount Cycle Parts.
Other parts I used were purchased from HD...
67104-95 Speedo/Tach cushion $7
68513-95 Bezel, warning lamp $ 2
68516-95 Housing warning lamp $ 9.20
68551-95 Warning Jewel $14.96
The bars came from Moto's Motorcycle Supply (eBay) and cost $75. They are 8" rise, 1 1/4" diameter, drilled for internal wiring. The stock wire lengths reached so no extensions were necessary.
I went with a 40" brake line ($40) and some chrome ends ($10 each) that I picked up from a local indy shop.
I rerouted the stock clutch cable along the downtube and throttle cables outside of the forks for now. Everything works fine, except the throttle sticks with the Kury grips on it.
All told, I spent around $300. If you have any other questions, let me know.
