I just installed NAPA part SL147SB and it worked like a charm for $12. The parts stores call it a stoplight switch. The stealership, much further away from me, wanted $20 and after reading how easily those are breaking, I just went to the NAPA headquarters 2 streets away from me. Time to get it inspected.

 

Well I carried my 2011 Heritage to the dealership cause I had no brake light and the 2 side auxiliary brake lights/turn signals were staying on. Dealer called after checking it out and said switch was bad. I said ok, replace it. Thirty minutes later he calls back and says my LED tail light/brake light is bad and needs to be replaced. Says they have one $150.00. I didn't have much choice except to say go ahead. So he tells me my bill will be a shade under $300 to pick it up tomorrow. Damn!! I knew HD stood for Hundred Dollar.
