Good Leather Site
I just placed a small order with these people. Leather prices are certainly reasonable. I'll let ya know about the quality of their product, shipping etc etc. http://www.leatherup.com/index.asp

I've bought a few things there. The leather is good BUT: 1. the sizes are way smaller, 2 the buttons/zippers are crap.
I've had to take in a pair of pants to get new top button replaced on pants, the snap buttons on a vest didn't work, so I had to get those replaced, and the zipper on the chaps fell apart. (haven't fixed that yet) and of course it all happened after the 30 days so I had to eat it.
My suggestion : buy better leather products.

Not that it's the only place to buy leather goods on the planet, but I'm OK with paying just a tad more for the branded stuff at the stealer. I like having an excuse to go in there every now and then a graze like a wild bull and see what's new. It's also a good excuse to go look at new bikes.

I've got a jacket and boots from them. The sizes run small on the X-Element jackets but they seem like nice quality for the price...if you usually wear a large order an XL. The boots I purchased seemed to be run true to standard shoe sizes. They are also pretty good about returns so I'd recommend them, just keep the sizing issue in mind.

There are a lot of places to buy good leather stuff (vests/jackets/etc), but I'll stick with the 'branded' Harley stuff.
I know that I'm paying a premium cost, but their products have always seemed to be very heavy duty, with no surprises...
I've still got a couple of jackets that were purchased way back in the 1970's. Needless to say they are "well broken in", but they are still in great shape and I still wear them from time to time.

The vest arrived a few days ago. Looks good and fits great. Will let you know after some more wear, how it holds up. One dissapointing thing, on the inside, it has a patch with an American flag, USA enbrodered on the patch, USA Leathers under the flag, then directly below this patch is another label. "Made in China" What's up with that??!!!!

It appears that Japan is making most of the automotive electrical components for the Big 3 and Harley-Davidson. China is making all the cheap home electronic stuff, clothing and just about everything else. The leftover stuff is made in Taiwan. I figure that is the reason all our factories are closing their manufacturing departments and are becoming distribution facilities. This is the reason everyone likes Walmart prices compared to Sears prices. What ticks me off is that our governments allow this to happen. Just my opinion.
