I agree those wide tires make it look pretty beast like. Man I just have all these different ideas that I want to do with this Nightster. Its weird because, I was looking at a 2003 VROD (silver) and I think it looks perfect, nothing would need to be done with it. But with the Nightster, its a fine looking bike stock but, theres just so much I want to do, different handle bars, seat, exhaust, etc. etc. I really hope I end up picking this up, I"m a bit nervous.. the last bike I rode was a Honda Rebel 250 and..that was years ago lol.

I think she looks straight out of WWII...with the side mounted plate. I don't even want to put a luggage rack on her...when I have to, I know I'll take it back off as soon as I am back from a trip. Besides black pipes I may go with olive covers on the oil tank...with a little artwork perhaps...could add one of the pin-up babes like on the old fighter planes. I noticed the asbestos wrapped pipes in an earlier posting...I liked that too. I had seen this bike for sale in Manhassett, NY (Long Island) and the bike had the same wrapped pipes, only it was NYC priced in the high $9000s.
