that is a great looking bike minus the chrome pipes. Black would look better. I hope everything works out for you.

I bought my 2007 Olive green/Black Nightster back in January for $7500! I was told that was the only year it came in that color. I love her! Do agree about the black pipes...would like to switch but need to confirm I can get black pipes without the Scream'in Eagle logo...think it needs to be plain...no logo.

Because the back half of the ham can (black plastic with scoop) is removed. This part is not used when upgraded to the SE Stage 1.

You could do a lot worse, that's for sure. The olive green Nightster is my favorite, by far.

Is there any other way to tell, cuz when I got my bike, after it had been nosed into a dodge Ram, I was told it didn't have changes done to it, but it doesn't have the scoop on the AC.

Inside the ham can the stock AC will have a rectangular filter and the SE has an oval shaped filter.

As you've probably surmised, the olive was only produced in 07 and 08. I bought mine new in 08 and had to wait three months for them to find me an olive one. Love the color.

Sounds like people are picking up most Nightsters in the 7K to 7500K. Not sure if the color makes a big difference.
