i do think they could have gone with rear sets instead of mids....

as soon as someone comes out with a bolt on rear set system i'm all over it.

definitley should do rearsets, i agree pitch especially with the lean from the clip ons! hey papa....get the grinder out and start hacking your leg and arm off cause that's what roland is gonna want, limbs! your'e right though, quality stuff but seriously over priced imo.

bin also thinkin abt clipons for a loooooong time.... dont have the foggiest idea where to start or look for them here in SA (im pretty sure ther r no RSD products in this country) even if they wer theyd imported theyd probably be triple d price.
Thanks man! RSD used LSL clip-ons to begin with...not sure if he still uses them and just puts his logo on, but the original version of his cafe, he used LSL and custom made a 1" bar to fit.

Storz Performance makes some of the best rearsets for our sporties imo. Expensive, around $700 but if thats what you want, they are great quality. Chaincycle (Spelling) makes them for ours too at a much cheaper price.

I'm thinking down the road, he does bring out his own rearsets. I'm sure the clip-ons and speedo will be an arm and a leg, but I've already invested so much in his crap that I should own the company by now, so a couple more parts won't hurt me. Just night and day with his products than some others.

aw man....no question his stuff is well made and looks better than most stuff out there. i would just need a second job to afford his parts! lol. can't wait to see them mounted to your bike should you pull the trigger. if the girl modeling the cafe comes with i just might chop a limb.....

Nice stuff, but…

$$$…!!!

I gotta whole list of mods for a 48, but the only part I want from Roland is the RSD Tracker exhaust…

I would 'de-bling' it by removing the chrome heat shields & exhaust tip, and finish with some Midnight Grey Screamin' Eagle wrap (from the exhaust ports to the collector)…

I like the clip-ons, but a pair of Biltwell Clubmans would serve the same purpose, and give a nice retro vibe at the same time…

The list goes on, but mainly a retro cafe racer meets bobber kinda feel to it…!

The big question is; to go with a LaBriola suicide clutch/jockey shift set-up or not…?!?

Another minor design dilemma; stick with retro-esque bullet turn signals (Astros from Joker Machine) or go high-tech with wrap-around leds on the front forks and rear lights integrated into the trailing edge of the Biltwell diamond pleat solo seat…?!?

I guess I am really looking at a different version of this:

Some prices were just posted on Roland Sands' site

Gas Cap: $69.95
Clip Ons: $214.95
Gauge Mount: $249.95
Ignition Relocation Bracket: $249.95
Air Cleaner: $419.95

All-in-all the air cleaner and gas cap are the only real over-priced items on the list. Licks clip-ons are $200 Joker Relocation Kit is $200... etc They also claim that these parts will be available in 2 weeks and not next year. Regardless of price I cant wait to get the clip-ons, Gauge Mount, Ignition Relocation and headlight kit. Bad-***!
