If price is any consideration, the chrome Shortshots are about $60 cheaper than the black ones.

Me? I like the chrome ones. Of course, my bike is like the "anti-dark".

Basically opinions are like butt holes
everyone has one, they are all different,
and they all stink!

Take your time, look around, then
decide for yourself what you like..

Congrats on your choice of bikes
you are doin' great on your own..

Black--I'm biased, and although "everyone" has the Short Shots--I love em. Must be a reason why--look good, sound good, fit good, and actually performed much, much better on a SERT Stage 1 tune than imagined. Will post those dyno runs soon.

Black looks pretty damn good on rattlecan ray's bike. There's a reason why so many bikes are sporting the short shots. They look awesome and sound mean. I like the way the black looks with the blaked out motor behind it, but the chrome might pop real nice too. Hard to say. so many choices make it even harder. Good luck.

I was set on the black but every 48 that I've seen (black, silver, orange) w/ shortshots all have the black version so I am going to order the chrome version for my silver just to be a little different.
