Default 2007 Nightster pricing question

What do you guys think would be a fair price for a 2007 nightster on craigslist with 2,700 miles? It is advertised to be in like new condition with some extras, including a windshield, chrome vance and hines, and a passenger seat.

I paid $7500 for my 07 from a dealer this spring. Completely stock with 1700 miles. It was owned by their driving instructor and was as new looking as you can get from a used bike.

I paid $7500 for an '09 with 1500 miles on it this summer from a dealer (not Harley). Seems like anything around $7k and below is a good deal, based on what out there.

Looks like 7's are your lucky number...is it an 883 or 1200? I've seen 07 & 08 1200 Nightsters going anywhere from $7000 - $9000 (depending on mileage & accessories. I'd say 7K would be fair if it's taken care of...

Nightsters are all 1200s. I had an 07. $7200 max. You can get a new one without the abuse or lack thereof for 3k more. While low miles is good, the lack of use would concern me. I've always bought new and I know some folks ain't into that. I'd look at the 48 though if you are seriously considering the Nightster since it is a 1200 as well and the styling is pretty cool.

You raise a good point about possible neglect. My original plan was to get a new Iron, but a 1200 for nearly two thousand less sounds pretty good. Thanks everyone for the replies.

Neglect is always a concern but it's an 07' not an 87' I would jump on it if it looks good!

I just paid 6,100.00 for an 08 Nightster with 559 miles on it.

Times are crazy tight right now and its a buyers market.

It might not be neglect always, my bike for example was their second bike only used to go to work. They used their bigger bike for longer trips. Like madmax said, it's an 07 not 87.
