Looking at getting a 2 into 1 pipe. Just wanted opinions from people who had a bassani road rage or the thunderheader.

 

Thunderheader makes one of the best 2:1 pipes for performance according to those that have them and a lot of people that don't. They have a very unique look and sound. I haven't heard anything about the Road Rage pipe and haven't seen or heard of too many people having it (I do know exactly what pipe you are talking about though). But I would say get which ever one YOU like the looks and sounds of the best.

 

Are you looking at opinions on looks and sound, or what kind of performance you can get out of them?

 

Both great pipes...but I'm partial to Thunderheader. Great sound, great performance.

 

Sound is my main concern. Looking for an opinon from someone who has heard both. I like the looks of the bassani, it's cheaper, and I think the performance of the two is pretty equal.

 

RB Racing LSR is good too!

 

For the difference in performance, you'll never feel the difference. Get the one you like.

 

I would recommend a Supertrapp 2-1 for power. Has a great tone with you give a handful of throttle

never had a bassani road rage before. but i love my thunderheader.

p/s: the finish of thunderheader is not as good as other pipes. it gets rusty easily(or at least for me)
