Default tipped parked bike --> insurance --> new parts

so insurance came through on the misfortune that happened to my bike last week, '08 XL1200N.

Looking at upgrading some of the scuffed parts rather than going with stock harley stuff, and have question/need advice on what/where to buy.

Suspension: I know this has been talked about a bunch, but looking for a concise answer... Ohlins seem a little expensive on my budget, so are progressives the way to go? Which shock do you all recommend and what is the stock length, 12''? what is the difference between the 412, 430, 440 series? and PROGRESSIVE Fork Springs seem like the standard way to go as well? any other good products out there to consider?

more to come...also working on dual disc front end...know what it takes at this point but if anyone has experience doing so with a sportster, or better yet has a right fork lower from a 1200R, i am very interested.

thank you

Stock nightster shocks are 11 inches center to center of the bolt holes. I recomend the 12 inch air shocks from a street glide. Then you can lower it with lowering blocks. I like the added lean angle I get with the taller shocks.
