I'm looking to switch my brow mounted headlight on my 2006 XL883 to a triple tree mounted headlight from a custom. I have found one from a 2008 here local and was wondering if it would plug right in to my harness with no problems? The wiring is intact as well as the plug. TIA!

I'm not sure about the plug on the frame side but the headlight plug itself is. I just put a lower tree mounted light on an 09 Iron and just pulled the wire out of the Iron's light and put it in the 04's bucket. Very easy job.

 

Yes, the wire harness is the same. It will fit.
