Default New Rides

Our new Sportsters arrived today (finally), as mine needed some basic work first... Screaming Eagle Air Cleaner, Rush slip-ons, Power Commander V, dyno tune: 76.13 hp and 73.54 ft. lbs. of torque. Nice, flat torque curve, and even flatter AFR at just over 13:1. Man, those Rush slip-ons sound mean!

Hers is an 883 SuperLow with detachable sissy bar, mine is a Nightster with the above plus detachable sissy bar and suction cup bitch pad. Much more to follow on mine, but she will leave hers alone, as this is her first bike, and she is still on her learner's permit.

Congrats both of you! That's pretty much the definition of a banner weekend.

Thanks to you both. We've been on several short rides already today. Gotta break in the bikes, and the wife. She's still on her learner's permit, so isn't ready for any longer stuff yet.

Thanks, Freebird. And exactly. I traded my FXD so we could have two bikes, so now my kids can ride with us. Makes for a much more enjoyable day when I don't have to leave them at home.
