Sportster Exhaust

Check out American Customs. I put these on my Road King. Sound great look great and the cost is very reasonable. I have short shots on my wifes sportster and they are definately worth looking at also.

everyone and their mother has V&H or Rush. I wouldnt buy them just because of that.
besides they'll cost you several hundred dollars and a stock exhaust modification will cost you like....$5. but do what you want!
im sure the pipe police will give some reason as to why modding your stock mufflers will cause the world to explode....

Because doing that decreases back pressure and thus decreases horse power and also it is a fuel injected bike so you will be running on the improper air/fuel mixture which also effects performance and could damage your engine. Also its just absurdly loud and the redneck way to do things.

Also I don't see how the air/fuel mixture would be changed at all. He aint changing out his air cleaner dude. So what you talking about? Nothing wrong with loud pipes. stockers with no baffles aint no louder then V&H SS's. And rednecks are some of the smartest folks in the world. Don't be hatin.

you see....i told you someone would chime in as to why removing or modding baffles in a stock pipe is totally TABOO. its ridiculous.

I like my Maritn Bros 2 down pipes, but they are $700-800 depending where you get them. They sound great, but I wanted that mean chopped soundsing back idle so I pulled the baffles. I head to 1200 this past weekend with V&H Short shots and wa not impressed. I do like the looks of them. Rush slip on's do sounds like, but I hate the stagered look that you get with slip on's-look to stock for me.
