Default HD Pillow Look Touring Seat or Mustang Vintage Wide; Which is More Comfy.

Looks aside, who's ridden on both? Which is more comfy? I need something for the long haul.

Thanks,

Barry

i ride the mustang... my buddy is on the road right now on the wide mustang also- riding from LA to Sturgis then to DC and back again. that seat is not an issue (every other seat i have ridden has had "butt time", meaning a time limit. i have never run into a butt time issue with the wide mustang)- imo its the way to go.
maybe someone else can tell us about the hd seat-

I put the Mustang solo on my '08 and have been very happy..........also got the backrest for my older back......no experiance with the HD except stock and I couldn't handle it.

I can vouch for the Mustang Vintage Solo. I don't have the wide touring size, just the regular size 12.5" across, Vintage Solo. It is terrific

I switched from a pillow-type HD to a Mustang vintage solo (not the "wide"). I like the Mustang a lot better because it's firmer and gives a little more support and I slide off the back less when I accelerate.

Google GM Cycles, then call them! 301 872-0088. Spoke to Lorili (?) she pulled one right there, shipped it immediately. Had one on order for month from another supplier then they said it would not ship for another month.

I really like my Mustang vintage solo. Buttloads better than the stock seat. Found probably the best deal at 1 of the sponsors here, Dennis Kirk. Got it in 5 days and no shipping charge.
