All that sounds good but do any of you have the part number for the bulbs. The Silver Stars or the PIAA?

I just got a Silverstar Ultra for mine today, the package said "9003", but in smaller print under the number it says "meets H4 specifications", so its a dual-number type deal. Regardless, it looked and fit just like the one I took out (was a Sylvania but not a SS).

95th 1200 How does it compare? At night on the really dark roads I have to drive with my high beam on the whole time. I feel bad for the other drivers coming my way.

H4 is the fitment #. When you go to buy a bulb that is the # you need to look for. 95th 1200, thanks for the double fitment #. Good to know.

Low beam doesn't make too much of a difference, the light is by far whiter, however the high beam is like turning on the sun. Light all the way from the front wheel to way far ahead, and a lot of light going to the sides as well (lights up the shoulder and critters). I'll have to try to snap some pics tonight.

yeah, the low is pretty much the same brightness, but definitely a lot whiter, which is a good plus for me. the high beam is awesome. one of the best/easiest upgrades you can make for your bike.

I've been buying my headlamps off ebay for awhile, direct from China. I Get 2 for $12 including shipping. I just replaced the 2nd one in 30,000 miles. They are very white and increase visibility but I'm not sure if they are higher wattage or not. I know the first one I had burnt up the stock socket on my sporty so I suppose they are...
