Default 13.5" Progressives Bought; 12.0" Progressives For Sale

I just ordered some 13.5" Standard Chrome Progressives and 1" lowering kit. I'll be around a total of 3/4" higher on my1200C. I'm looking for a more plush ride and will be selling my 12.0" Standard Chrome Progressives, Part #412-4068C. They'll be available as soon as I get the new shocks mounted, about a week. They have less than 500 miles and ship in original box.

Anyone interested in these PM me. I'm thinking $135 + $10 shipping. Great deal on a like new set of Progressives.

I'm offering them here first before they go on ebay.

Thanks,

Barry

You could have stayed with the 12'' shocks and lowered your rear tire psi to 30 or so . It made my ride plush .and I also added 1 1/2 '' of foam to my seat.

Only if your goal is a bad handling, lousy tire mileage and an unsafe ride.

Not to mention that the 12.5" and longer Progressive's have a different (better) spring rate than the 12" and shorter shocks, which is what provides the big improvement in ride quality.

Time will tell. Dunlaps are as hard as rocks . The 401's are like run flats .

I changed over to progressivs's 13'' std springs 20000 miles ago good shock. But I do'nt feel it help my handling . It did put a stop to bottoming out ever day .

My quote above was 2 paragraphs.

The first, regarding poor handling and tire mileage was in reference to your running a lower than recommended pressure in the rear tire.

The second para. simply stated that the 12.5+" shocks provide a better ride quality, as in less harsh.
