I always wear a full face, i don't like the thought of landing on my face with a 3/4 or especially the 1/2, i also never get on the bike without my armoured leather jacket, draggin jeans, boots and gloves

I bought a SHOEI Qwest full face helmet this past weekend so I guess I just joined the ranks of the not real Harley owners. Not sure what to do with the titles to both my Harleys now.

I don't wear a full face but there has been many times I wished I did, like on the freeway when road dirt gets kicked up or when your getting pelted by rain drops at 75 mph, The worst is those darn flying bugs - they hurt like hell when they hit the cheek..

Funny I saw this thread a week ago. When I ride my sr500 its full face. When I got the 48, I picked up a brain bucket and was waiting on the Outlaw DOT half to get in stock. Today I saw the full face and said what the hell lets try it out! I didn't realize how much more I enjoy riding the full face

I hate how just because you have a Harley everyone thinks you have to wear the stereotypical "clown" outfit. Just wear what is comfortable and makes you feel safe. Remember it is better to look stupid than be stupid. Lot's of cool looking "tough guys" who are now dead. If you need a half helmet to make you feel cool and "belong" then you have bigger issues.

Funny how "real Harley riders" won't rock a FF because it looks funny, or is too bulky, or too constraining..but have no problem wearing a 1/2 lid with a stupid scary clown or skeleton neoprene mask. Or 40#'s of leather, chains, conchos, pins, medals, patches on their pirate outfit. Or ride around with Steppenwolf blaring on 11 while doing 0.2mph through the parking lot with their feet on the highway pegs. Yeah, the full face looks dumb..youre right.
