But you can't bring yourself to invest $270 for a Snell helmet? LOL, that's said.
No, what I said was I would consider that one when I tired of my current Bell FF. The other Snell rated helmets I have seen (not modular) run upwards of $700...have at it if you like. If you are going to quote someone at least do it in it's entirety.

Real Harley riders wear what ever they want and don't need to ask.

The full face helmet is needed on a sportbike because of the high speeds and riding position. On a Harley, if you are scared of getting a little wind on your face, jump in the cage.
That is hilarious. About as logical as a quarterback not needing a faceguard.

Non-modular FF Snells can be found for $200 and up. If you're going to shop, do a little research.

Wear what ever you want man. I have a full face helmet right now but also plan on getting an open face for when it gets warmer out.

You still don't get it...I was never looking for a non-modular. I also said they go for "upwards" of $700...do a little more reading.

Sorry, I missed your point. They are upwards of $3,995, I don't understand the point of "upwards of $700" when they start much lower and go much higher. But okay, moving on.

The only time you really need a helmet is on a day that you're gonna have a
wreck, but the law says ya gotta wear one here in WA.

I don't care for the looks or feel of a FF helmet, makes me look like a big
claustrophobic bug. A coupla my buddies have 'em, though, and like 'em a
          lot.

It's your head and your dollar, man, not anyone else's.

Upwards "of" $700, not upwards "from"...anyway, if you have a link for one of those $3995 helmets we would all like to see that lol.

Real Harley riders ride Harleys. The rest is commentary.
