The modulars I bought, are both CE tested which is stricter than Snell.
CE testing includes 6 impact points tests and more importantly batch-testing which is a very big difference with independent/paid-for test ratings like SNELL.
In late 2009, SNELL came out with the new SNELL M2010 rating which is a tremendous improvement on the previous M2005 and comes closer to the CE specifications as far a max allowed G impact to the brain, but still only just for the smaller size helmets.

Actually he's right. Page 32 section 5 sentence 54 of your harley manuel clearly states that anyone that rides a Harley and wears a full face is open to ridicule from real Harley riders that wear full leathers in 100 degree weather or others that wear sleeveless shirts to show off there little *** shoulder tattoo. Rules are rules man!

I wouldn't go by what everyone does. How safe do you feel? In terms of a crash, how much protection does the do rag offer? If you feel it offers you enough, fine. Wear that only. If you feel you need more, go for more. Don't do the "Monkey see, monkey do" routine.
