ff and 3/4...
I have both ff and 3/4 wear either one depending on weather, interstate travel etc.
Have ran into several Hells Angels lately at a bike night and a local bar where their club house is near by and 3 or 4 out of the 7 or so that I saw were wearing FF. Wonder how many people would tell them their not real bikers. These were some big boys.

Have heard stories of MC members switching to baggers and wearing FF helmets when they don't want to be recognized by LEOs. Of course, if they're wearing their colors, that sort of ashcans THAT theory, huh?

Amazing that this is still a common issue nowadays. Its not a fashion show, wear what makes you feel most safe and secure, not most attractive or fashionable for the genre.. I also wear a Metallic Green Fulmer 3/4 and a Neon Yellow full face other times, in the summer, I wear also a neon yellow mesh jacket. I'd much rather be safe than fashionable, but I do like neon colors and especially the color green! . A friend of mine who wears a non DOT skull cap, when I say he should wear a 3/4 or FF or even DOT helmet, says: "oh, not on a harley".
Pffft. But then again, this is the same person that has told me that he has nothing to worry about, because he isn't "planning" on having an accident!! Idiot...

A guy at work was ribbing me a bit for wearing a FF on my Sporty. "You're gonna have to get another helmet if you're riding that bike." he said to me.
On the way home that evening a stone hit the left side of my face shield, sounded like a hammer hit it! Man was I glad I wasn't wearing an open face!
