One of my instructors of the MCF Safety Course said the same thing. He also added "How much risk are you willing to take?" Personally, I wear a ff ALL THE TIME! I also wear riding boots and leather jacket. Gloves are worn when it's cold, but I hate them due to my inability to find any that fit properly (I have a medium palm and small fingers, so I have to choose tight palms or fingers that are too long - either way, I have trouble with control wearing them.)

 

81 wears Full Face helmets here......Not easy to be identified.

I wore mine in the rain riding my bike back 5.5 hours from where I picked it up. Around town I wear a 3/4 or mostly none.

 

Can somebody define what a "REAL HARLEY owner' is?

You're on the internet - lots of Harley owners, real or otherwise, aren't American and live oceans away! Jus' sayin'.......

 

Why is this still happening? The real internet does wear a full faced helmet... it wears a leather bandana and a goatee.

 

I personally don't wear a helmet. With that said, tell that guy to F off! You have the choice to wear what you want and who cares what others think.

 

Harleys are all about personal choice. I've had a FF helmet, but I prefer a 3/4 with a face shield. I like the visibility and the feeling of being outdoors. But, that's just me.

 

I always wear a full face helmet. Tonight I decided to take off the face shield and just wear the helmet with a pair of glasses. It was actually pretty nice

You wear whatever you want. I recommend wearing all the protection you can. I'm out there with full face, jacket, gloves, boots, the whole nine yards.
