I just bought a 2007 1200 Low with a sundowner seat. It's great for my passenger but it moves me forward and way to high. I actually rode around the block without a seat and it felt great. It felt like I was really sitting into the bike rather than on top. What seats do you all suggest?

The stock seat sits lower than the Sundowner and allows you to move back in the seat. I've got a stocker I took off in favor of a Sundowner. PM me if you would be interested in the stocker.

 

Look into HD's Badlander seat. I think that's the name. Sits lower than stock but your passenger may not like it much.

 

For a lower high quality seat, look at the mustang vintage wide.
They make a solo or 2 up version, and are really well made.
It will put you lower, and any passenger will love it, and its much more comfortable then the stock seat which has almost no padding at all.

You likely can get the stock seat cheap or for free, since its the first thing most people change.
Its great if you only ride 1/2 hour at a time.

I have mine, but might use the base for a custom seat....
