Primary Chain Adjustment Question
Sportster 1991 xlh 1200, 30,000 miles.
My chain has always remained within specs, never had to adjust. Stock shoe.
Anyone else never had to adjust? Just curious. Thanks.

I have rarely needed to adjust my primary chain and that's after 70,000 miles. I did replace the shoe at around 65,000 miles.

Good to know. I thought there might be something wrong for being right all the time!
Thanks

Mine was just a hair loose when I got it at 5K miles, but it may have never been adjusted. The next 5K miles were fine.

I'm still running the one my '87 came with two motor builds ago. The only time I've had to adjust it is when I've replaced clutches.
