Default New Owner of Harley Sportster

Well I did it!!! I bought a new 883 Low HD Sportster!!! I pick it up at the end of this week and CAN NOT WAIT to get on the bike and practice practice practice.....I'm going to take the first few days really getting to know the feel of the bike. Probably going to go and practice turns, emergency stops, shifting, etc in a empty school parking lot near my house. Then take it riding through some neighborhood streets before I go out for a day ride with my friends. SO EXCITED and I knew you would all understand what I'm feeling.

sweet and congrads!! also sounds like you may have had a MSF class already, if so
remember that this bike is a lot heavier from what you had during the course and slow speed turns will be a lot different with it.
ride safe and ENJOY!!!

Congrats on the new bike!

+1 on the MSF course. If you haven't done it already it is probably the best thing since fuel injection.
